Hideaway Golf Club is a Private, 36-hole golf facility located in La Quinta, California. The facility has two championship 18-hole golf courses, they are: The Pete Dye Course and The Clive Clark Course.
Hideaway Golf Club, The Pete Dye Course, opened in 2001. The course was designed by Pete Dye.
Hideaway Golf Club, The Clive Clark Course, opened the following year, in 2002. The course was designed by Clive Clark.
Both the Clark and Dye courses are meticulously landscaped and maintained, with extensive use of wildflowers, waterfalls, lakes and streams to create playable, yet visually dramatic courses. The Clive Clark course plays to nearly 7,000 yards from the championship tees and to 5,200 yards from the forward tees, while the Pete Dye course plays to over 7,100 yards from the championship tees and to 5,100 yards from the forward tees.
The Hideaway's golf memberships are invitation-only, private equity memberships providing an exclusive golf environment of no more than 290 members per 18-holes. The courses gently rolling fairways are lined by water and sand, or punctuated by waterfalls and bunkers, leading to beautifully manicured greens.
The Pete Dye Course links-inspired course was the first at Hideaway and completed in 2001. Each hole is a journey down a rolling fairway bordered by native grasses that gives way to wide strips of sand or to strategically placed streams and ponds. Sand and water begin or end each hole, lining the edges of the greens or expanding in front of elevated tees. Among the many favorite aspects of this course is the close proximity of its tees and greens which allows for members to easily walk the course.
The Clive Clark Course at the The Hideaway Golf Club measures 6,963 yards from the tips and plays to a par-72.
